According to my daughter he bit her knuckle, she didn’t say it was aggressive, but surprising. According to the previous owner he has pulled back (reared up when tied) before, but he couldn’t re-enact the result. When we brush him he will chomp his lips and when it comes to curry brush on his hind end he will kick out. We now take the curry brush and lightly hold it on his end until he calms down. Still haven’t tried to pick his hind legs (more just inexperience on my end). He’ll pick his front hooves up, but just gets fussy when I start to run my hand down his hind quarter. Good thing is my daughter still has hope, just a little frustrated. We look forward to your (and the community’s) counsel. Thanks!

Hi Boatwright,
Thank you so much for sharing your skills with us. We are taking it day by day with him. Sometimes it one step forward and two back, but my daughter still loves the challenge. She has been working with him on being tied to the trailer and has noticed that if we tie him tight, he gets nervous. If we give him a little slack, he does much better. I’m such a newbie at all of this so I really love your video instructions. You make it look so easy. Please continue to post for us that are new to the game!  Thanks
