Hey!

I’ve got a nice 2 yr old AQHA Colt I’m bringing along. He’s a lot like the horse ā€œneechesā€. I got the first saddling done, he bronced out quite a bit to be honest hahah. Anywho, now when I go to throw on the saddle, and the stirrups, etc., fall on the opposite side he is veryyyyyy sensitive. When I did do the first saddle, he bucked good but by the end of the session he was working well with it. Just curious if there’s anything specific I should do to get him more ā€œcomfortableā€ with things being on his back. He’s completely fine with the saddle pad and cinch combo, I’ve flanked him, and had ropes all over him. Is it a matter of me getting more confident in letting him bronc out?Ā
