Hi from Munich, Germany.  I'm sitting in the airport trying to keep my eyes open.  It's 2 am my time, 10 am here.  If you're interested in what it might feel like to be a cow getting processed through a chute, just go to Europe.  It's really kind of creepy the way they scan, photo, and fingerprint a person.  Not a fan, but at least they haven't tried to preg-check me yet😅.  Looking forward to getting out of the airport and getting horseback.  Talk soon, RB

Kaitlyn B. Well, that's a good question.  I like to ride them 5 days a week until I'm done with the ES20 program through Snaffle Bit Basics II.  Then, frequency will drop off a little.  Especially if I'm doing ranch work with them.  I think it would be safe to say that if you are satisfied with the handle you have on the horse then dropping back will be fine, but if he's the type to forget or regress easily, then more is better.  

The bit thing is kind of nuanced because it depends on your hands. If your seat and hands are good then you could go to a square mouth or a twisted wire.  If you're still trying to get it worked out with your hands, I'd stay with the smooth snaffle.  He will eventually get light if your hands are right.  Hope this helps!  RB
