Hi Richard!

New to your platform, really enjoying your training videos.

Question 1- When you start a colt, consistency is key. (Say, 5 days a week at least riding). At what point (assuming the colt is coming along nicely) can you back off a little?  I have 50 rides on one of my colts, can I back down to 2 or 3 rides a week? Again, assuming the colt is coming along nice.

Question 2- what bit would you use for a very mouthy colt, who resist the soft feel, leans on the bit. (Also leaned on the loping hackamore from the get go. Just resists getting soft in general). Current snaffle is 4 3/4 , dog bone , kinda thicker mouth piece. Should I go thinner?

Thanks so much for the guidance!
