First off I want to say I really appreciate all of your videos and this community where we can ask questions! I look up to you in your natural horsemanship ways and will try my best to follow your footsteps in colt starting with the ES20 series. I have worked with yearlings and 3 year olds before but never but the first ride on. I recently bought a freshly 3yr old who is completely unhandled. After 4 days with me she responds to the code well, accepts the halter, will move her hind end, and lunge around. How “broke” on the ground does she need to be before starting with the cinch rig and saddle? Do I base it off of my judgment or is there a couple rules you follow before you start them? I don’t want to add too much too soon so thought I’d ask the boss! Thank you Boatwright for all that you do!
