Richard I tried these techniques yesterday and did two 15 minute sessions. I had worked with her in the past lowering her head to poll and neck pressure but never really had pulling from the halter. Definetly found some resistance there! Just slight pressure she would try to pull her head away from it. After the two back to back sessions she was yawning at the end with her head low. I think these are going to really help. Hoping to get another session in today. I do plan on doing your full bridling portion of it too. As she tenses up when she sees the bit. I’m hoping I can result back to these to help her relax. Thanks again for the advice! Super helpful. I was gonna share a video but I don’t think I can. Enjoyed talkin with you!

Hey Richard, thanks for checkin back. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to try these. Been in bed sick for two days. I will hopefully get a couple sessions in this weekend. I’ll update you with how it goes!

Thank you for getting back to me!  I will absolutely try these

Good morning! Do you have any advice on how to help a horse that is reactive when stepping on the lead rope.  I have tried letting her "get used" to stepping on it over and over but when she feels hung up in her face, she immediately tries to throw her head back and I want to fix that so she doesn't get herself into a wreck. If she does it with a lead rope, I'm sure she would do it if her bridle happened to get caught on a fence or somethin.  Thank you!
