We have an App, hes about 10 now. A FB kill page rescue (eye roll). He has food issues due to he was about a 2 when we got him and sick as a dog. Hes tall and athletic now. He gets impatient and wound up if you dont get him in quick enough to eat. He tries to push the fence down or toes up to jump it and has. Charges the gate and if you dont get open or really firmly push him back he will bolt over you. I tried working with him making him back and stand until he licks and chews and it was working until he decided now to attack the fences and go around me. Also, my farrier and I have messed with him to try to get him to let us hold his feet for a trim. I can tap his canon and he will let you pick it up on the first ask, but wants it right back and weve hung on with all we had to try to keep from reenforcing his habit but hes alot. Not sure if hes claustrophobic our just a jerk, he has a calm look in his eye when he does it.. So we have to stick him to trim every time. Theres times he takes on an aggressive stance bowing his neck and pushing his mouth against my leg and Ive given him the chance to bite if he wanted and me ready to deal with it but he backs off, maybe im just reading him wrong, ive handled a few studs and have seen that before tho and been bit. Even the other horses get tired of him and run him off because hes ill mannered.. Hes secure tho and I keep him away from my wife and all because I dont trust him. But theres other times he can be really sweet. When he gets bracy and wound up hes a pain. The other 8 are great and more often than not Id rather play with a good horse than fight with him. I just know if something happened to me hed end up in a bad spot or hurt someone if I dont try to help him. I dont plan on riding him unless theres a drastic change of attitude me being 64. He bucks like a pro and would definitely shake your salt. I can get him to yield fore and hind no prob and he is mindful on a lead. Just after a min or so he gets bracy.. Im stuck with him in more ways than one.

This is my 3rd J Smith, the other 2 are cutters and love them, just wanted something I could rope off if I wanted and always wanted a seat rig. It fits my mare nice and pretty sure it will my shire too. I was shopping teskeys and a used one cost about the same as this was ordering it.
