Oh and she was at the trainers for two months. She was handled much when I purchased her this 80 year old breeder just mainly feed them. I have been desensitizing her this week with the flag and getting her to walk over a tarp.

Thanks,

Mike

Good morning, yes I came out okay leg bruised from hitting the horn I guess. Thankfully it was soft dirt.  But no she was great saddling up didn’t flinch and was fine. She was moving a little when I was going to get on her. I went up half way and just put my weight on her and she was fine.  But when I got on to ride I didn’t even get my right stirrup in and she was bucking.

Thanks for responding.

Hello, just got my two year old filly back from the trainer Saturday and saddled her up for the first ride on Sunday.  So right when I got up she started bucking right away and got me off fairly quick.  The trainer said I should have lunged her but the round pen was so wet from all the rain we have had here in East Texas I just walked her several times.  I remember the back cinch was pretty tight.

I rode her the week before down in Houston and she did fine.  But the trainer did lunge her a few laps with the saddle on.

Thanks

Mike
