Lynn Morrison good morning.  You've prety much got it figured out.  I run the neck rope through the curb strap when I will be changing direction and through the D on the snaffle when I want to work on one side specifically.  Good luck!🙂

Stesha Reukauf my gut is telling me that it is colt stuff.  Especially, if it's in the beginning of a session.  I'd just stay consistent with the asking and keep her working the Code until she doesn't do all the silly stuff.  She needs to make those departures without drama, then you know she's ready to get down to business.  Make sense?

Lynn Morrison I use the fence quite a bit in the roundpen when I'm starting them.  Mostly the foundation for the rollback comes from correcting them when they try to cut across the pen.  I'll turn them all the way around and then turn them back when we get to the fence.  If I need the fence in the arena, I'll use it.

A young horse is ready when they understand what a pull on the snaffle bit means and respond to it by looking and going in the direction of the pull.  Make sense?

Camdon Corzatt Thank you for that!  You guys need to come back for some more some time.  🙂
