Thanks Richard Boatwright winter has been good but we need some rain now for spring growth ! Cows are set stocked and about to start calving, they have come through the winter great so happy about that. I have a poly and feel like it’s about used out, got a grey and white speckled one and really like it but its loosing a bit of shape now and heal shots seem hard as the lope doesn’t stay very open. I think I will get frustrated as 20-30 head is a lot for me but sounds like a good challenge as well. Do the 3/8 take the same amount to break in as 5/16 th generally? Cheers Ben

thanks man appreciate it, do the 3/8 take less to break in ? And what’s your process for breaking them in ? Just general use ?

Hello from New Zealand, hope all is well across the world. I am looking at buying a 60ft waxed cotton rope for general ranch work from 3:10 ranch life and am unsure on the whether to get a 5/16 or 3/8th. I’ve only ever used 3/8th ropes before but seems like the 5/16 are more popular in the waxed cotton. Do you have a suggestion on what might work best. I’m not a skilled roper but would like to go to the next step. Thanks for any advice Cheers Ben

Gday how we all? I’m from New Zealand and enjoy watching and learning on here. I was just wondering if you have any advice on a good ranch rope to purchase. I was looking at some of the 3:10 ranch life polys but was wondering if you had an opion. Cheers Ben

Gday how are you all going ? Ben here from New  Zealand, really enjoy watching your videos and applying them to training some horses over here. I’m just wondering what rope you use for all your ranch work and if you’d have some suggestions for a good general purpose one? Cheers BenÂ
