the back cinch caused my horse to buck so i took it off. It wasn’t a big deal because we were just training in an arena. Now she is advancing and i need the back cinch. Should i put it on and just let her buck?

are there certain bosal makers you recommend?

I am aware, but with all going on in DC i am thinking they won’t make messing with the cowboys a top priority. Petty sick and tired of regulation born on ignorance.

the process is slow but effective, i’m wondering if the hackamore is worth the expense since other disciplines skip this step. what are the benefits to the horse and rider as opposed to just moving on to a shank bit and riding one handed with romel.

Four years ago i bought a 2 going on 3 year old. I work closely with a trainer who studies with Buck Brannamen and she has taught me a lot. But i have been exploring other trainers and clinicians and have been starting to question the progression from snaffle, hackamore, 2 rein then bridle. I am still using the snaffle, and am ready for hackamore. I question the necessity of it when so many people go right from snaffle to a shank bit. thoughts?
