Do you have any more Elvis videos? Or any other colt you’ve started? Just wondering if you follow them through their first 30 days?

What would you start doing with a 1 1/2 year old colt?  He is halter broke but not much past that?  I’d like to wait until he’s 2 before I put any rides in him.

Probably a stupid question, but I want to know. I understand starting a horse in a snaffle, what I have never really understood, is why everyone moves to a more “western style, bit.  If a horse does well in a snaffle, why is it so important to change?

Thanks. I think I understand “sacked out” now too. Is it a term for becoming desensitized to certain things?

What is the purpose of roping a colt? Is it just to desensitize? I’ve roped a colt to catch them. But usually when I have them comfortable with being caught I don’t rope them. What does “sacked out” mean?
