Hey Lucas, Thanks for that.  I see a few things that should help.  1. Keep him moving forward when he wants to back into the turn.  Just jump him out of the turn with both legs then go right back into the turn.  2. Don't use your outside leg in the turn, just reins.  Get your forward motion first, then go into the turn.  3.  only let him go around once, then straighten him out and sidepass the same direction.  Or, turn him around to the left then get him straight and push his hip to the left.  Remember, only use your legs before of after the turn.

Additional homework:  Trot circles, alot.

I'll make a video showing all this this week.  🤠

Hi Rob, I just found your question on here, sorry for the delay!  They can grow quite a bit their 2-year old years.  I don't think it would be impossible for her to grow that much.

We took the kids snowboarding this week.  I hated to leave work, but I'm glad I did.  Epic!

We must've taken it down.  I'll dig it out for you and put it back up.

The flag isn't necessary, but it sure comes in handy.  I find I can get what I need done faster with it.  We get a lot of horses that are pushy and a lead rope doesn't help much for them.  Also, on the stingier ones I can touch them with the flag without getting within range of a foot.😉
