Hi Ben,  Thanks for reaching out.  I mostly use a waxed cotton rope from 3:10 Ranch Life.  They have others that I like as well, but the waxed cotton is my go-to.  Richard

I can definitely see that good fences are a necessity! I've had them a few weeks now and they work good, but they sure checked my fences! My biggest problem is getting horses to relax around them. Some client horses are not having it!😂😂 Richard

That's exactly how I would get a horse to stand still for the farrier. Its a lot easier if your farrier is there to help, but not necessary. Richard
