Outstanding idea and commitment Lucas Truax a great way to keep progress, I’m an over thinker and as such keep it all inside my head where I am but maybe writing it down would help me!

Lucas Truax & Richard Boatwright thanks guys, been rough recently but trying to get back in the game, new bit arrived for my old grey today to try and sort the head shakes so I shall get back in the saddle, so lost without the round pen!!

appreciate the replies

Richard Boatwright thanks, realistically it ain’t gonna happen as the childcare cover hasn’t altered any so it’s not more than wishful thinking for the foreseeable.

Forced into moving livery yards recently so sold both my youngsters as didn’t have the space to take them, turned the others away on pasture to enjoy the autumn grazing, had to sell my round pen, far from ideal and a bit demoralising to be honest so gonna take a backseat from things for a while and take stock.

Let me check flights 😂

Have a great time spreading the B1 word, I’m sure the lucky participants will gain some valuable knowledge.

Be nice to get back over sometime soon

Just a thought, it may be ulcers that have come on recently.

Hi Lucas Truax that certainly isn’t something you want to riding when it happens!

have you had him long?

It sure looks like something is spooking him with the set up, I presume he is absolutely fine when having no tack on?

Probably the wrong way of doing it but providing his saddle fits fine I may start him with only a front cinch and no breast plate or rear cinch and see if he does the same, if not then maybe it is a starting point.

good luck and hope you find the issue

For me I wouldn’t think beans or he would do it without saddle, I’m more inclined to think association with saddle or pain caused by something

Really sorry to hear that Richard Boatwright  he certainly was a characterÂ
